$600m for Delta Terminal At LaGuardia Airport

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) announced a partnership with Delta Air Lines to replace Terminals C&D at LaGuardia Airport with a new facility. The Port Authority will provide $600 million for construction of the terminal and supporting infrastructure, to be used by Delta through a lease agreement that runs through 2050. The announcement of the Terminals C&D project coes soon after the financial close in June on a $4-billion revitaliza- tion of the central terminal building at Laguardia being built by Skanska/Walsh. Construction on the PANYNJ-Delta partner terminal is scheduled to begin as soon as regulatory approvals and final lease negotiations are completed.
