ACS Sues AECOM For $69 Million

Industry sources report that ACS Group in August 2016 sued AECOM seeking $69 million, presumably for damages caused by its design subcontractor’s slow start on Florida DOT’s I-595 availability payment P3 in 2009. Early disputes over slow design approvals were put aside until construction of the $1.25-billion highway project was substantially completed, which occurred on time in March 2014.
