The Canadian province of Alberta has decided to drop P3s from its infrastructure plans, at least for the moment. However, the decision does not affect P3 projects now under development, such as the Calgary southwest ring road, which has shortlisted three groups and is waiting for the federal government to approve a Cdn $582.9-million contribution.
