American Water continued to achieve growth in 2014, with successes in both our regulated and market-based businesses.

American Water remains committed to the contract operations market, particularly contracts that establish long-term partnerships with the federal government and municipalities. Examples of those types of opportunities include concessions, reuse, regional water supply projects, desalination, and military services. These are areas in which we are uniquely positioned to bring private financing along with technical and operational expertise.
