Brazil Unveils $64bn P3 Program

Brazil’s President Dilma Rouseff unveiled plans in mid-June to lure private investors to a US$64-billion P3 infrastructure program. The program will be phased in over four years and aims to procure transportation concessions for 7,000-km of roads, four airports, and a number of railroads and ports in the hopes of modernizing Brazil’s infrastructure and recapturing the dynamism of its economy.
