A group headed by Brookfield Financial has won the first water P3 in Canada in several years. Brookfield has half the equity in Port City Water Partners, the preferred proponent in the estimated Cdn $200-million-plus capital cost DBFOM plant in Saint John, New Brunswick. Spain’s Acciona has 40% and North American Construction 10%.
The Port City bid was the lowest of three shortlisted teams, the city said.
