Cintra Makes a Play for Transfield in Australia

For all its troubles in the U.S., Ferrovial is sitting on a $2-billion pool of cash and a five-year bank line-of-credit totaling Euro 750 million (US$952 million). So it couldn’t sit idly by as its arch competitors, ACS Group and Acciona, move to dominate one of the world’s most active P3 markets, in Australia.
