Cleveland’s Innerbelt Bridge DBF

Qualifications are due Dec. 21 from design-build-finance (DBF) teams seeking an estimated $330-million contract for fast-track replacement of Cleveland’s 50-year-old Innerbelt viaduct on I-90, including demolition of the old structure.

A shortlist of three teams will be announced in early February and Ohio DOT expects to execute a contract and close the gap financing on July 29, next year. The two unsuccessful bidders will receive a $1-million stipend.
