Rep. John Delaney, who has been a strong campaigner for new funding for infrastructure, will give up his House seat in Maryland and run for President in 2020. Delaney is a moderate Democrat who led a publicly traded company before being elected in 2012. Since then, he’s introduced large-scale bipartisan legislation on infrastructure, tax reform, social security, and impact investing. He was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2004 and one of the “World’s 50 Greatest Leaders” by Fortune.
