Denver Airport Tests Terminal P3

Responses are due April 1 to an RFQ for reconfiguring the tented “Great Hall” at Denver International Airport (DIA), which is considering a P3 approach that would bring finance and construction risk assumption from the private sector and a share of profits to the city.

Denver has funds for high-priority projects, but has not revealed a budget for the DIA makeover.  “They know what they need, but they don’t know how to pay for it,” says a P3 financial advisor.
