Denver I-70 P3 Headed to Financial Close

As expected, Colorado signed a development agreement with Kiewit Meridiam Partners (KMP) on Nov. 21 for DBFOM delivery of the state’s largest single road contract, to rebuild a 10-mile segment of I-70 and add one new tolled express lane in each direction.
The $1.17-billion DBFOM price includes an $811-million design-build contract with Kiewit Infrastructure Co., with WSP as lead engineer and Jacobs as subconsultant. Roy Jorgenson Associates will perform routine operation and maintenance under a fixed-price contract with KM
