Maryland’s $7.5-billion megaproject to build express toll lanes on I-495 and I-270 will have to be segmented into smaller contracts to be within the financial capability of private developers in the U.S., according to industry veteran Sidney Florey, the North American Business Development Director for VINCI Concessions. Vinci Group, based in Paris, includes the largest construction company in the world by revenue—Euro 40.2 billion in 2017.
