LA’s Aging Asset A P3 Challenge

An RFQ could be approved by the Los Angeles City Council and Mayor Eric Garcetti as early as this summer for a major upgrade of the city’s aging convention center, possibly as a publicly funded P3. The roughly $500-million project would be substantially supported by mixed-use development on as many as 14 acres of land that would be freed up in a plan proposed by Arup Transactional Services.
