International developers including Spain’s ACS-Iridium, Ferrovial-Cintra, and OHL, Portugal’s Mota-Engil, and Brazil’s Odebrecht, are teamed with local firms to bid for Colombia’s Autopistas de la Prosperidad (AdlP), a 1,270-km toll road project with an overall cost of US$7.1 billion. The road will serve the mineral rich, land-locked department of Antioquia. The project includes 838 km of new two-lane road, 63 km of bridges, 90 km of tunnels, and operation and maintenance on 1,270 km.
