Mexico awarded Spain’s OHL a 30-year P3 highway deal, and began to roll out its multi-sector, revamped and increased, US$590-billion “transformational” infrastructure plan for the years 2014-2018. The original plan, announced last year, was for US$316 billion, but the government has added new projects in sectors such as housing, urban development and sanitation.
