New P3 Financial Model For Victoria, Australia

Victoria state government, Australia, is planning to remodel its P3 procurement system hoping to make deals more attractive to investors and improve value for money. The government cites problems with two projects awarded by the previous administration as failings that it wants remedied. In the last five years the state government has closed even deals worth around A$9.5 billion (US$10 billion), including the Ararat prison and the Victoria Desalination plant.
