No New Roads For Hampton Roads Virginia

Transportation Planning Organization has concluded that under its preferred no-toll funding scenario only one of nine priority projects in the Norfolk Va. region can be completed by 2028 and the rest maybe 40 years later. The MPO board rejected a plan by its consultant Public Financial Management to impose a $1 to $3 congestion-priced toll on all bridges and most interstates in the region. The board also rejected tax increases.
