Infrastructure Ontario has shortlisted three teams for the DBF upgrade of a major highway near Toronto that could easily run to more than Cdn $1 billion. The teams are competing to add 18 kms to Highway 401 in the section just west of Toronto. The contenders are Blackbird Infrastructure Group, with Dufferin Construction, Ferrovial Agroman Canada and TD Securities; LINK401 with Dragados Canada, ACS Infrastructure and Stonebridge Financial; and West Corridor Constructors, with Aecon Infrastructure Management, Parsons and National Bank Financial.
