The tenacious Canadians issued an RFQ on July 20 for P3 delivery of the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, Ont., and Detroit, Mich., with the intent of shortlisting bidders and delivery of an RFP late this year.

The est. $2.2-billion project includes both the 3×3-lane cable stayed toll bridge over the Detroit River and TSA/customs facilities large enough to handle 28% of all trade between the two countries.
