The Fargo-Moorhead Diversion Authority is seeking developer responses by Sept. 7 to an RFQ for DBFOM delivery of a portion of a long-delayed diversion pro- ject designed to prevent the Red River from flooding areas in North Dakota and Minnesota.
An RFP will be issued to as many as four shortlisted teams by year-end. Proposals are due in August 2017, and a preferred developer will be selected the following month for what is estimated to be a $760- million design-build project procured as a P3. The main components of the P3 project are a 36-mile diversion channel and 17 bridges.
