Transurban Negoitates I-95 Express Lane Extension With VDOT

Australian toll road developer Transurban said on Nov. 25 that it had negotiated a framework with Virginia DOT that “will provide a structure for the parties to advance the 395 Express Lanes project.” The project, costing up to $250 million, would extend the company’s 95 Express Lanes concession by 11 km north along I-395 to the Washington D.C. border. Financial close is expected early in 2017. . . .
